Hire
I am available to hire for paid gigs, functions, parties, weddings – any event where you would like some live acoustic music! I can play a mixture of covers and originals, or just original songs. I will take requests, but generally I ask that I am booked for shows because you like my original music and choice of covers.
That means I’m not going to play ‘Wonderwall’ or do a set of upbeat, open chord, by the numbers acoustic numbers you’ve heard a million times before. There are a multitude of artists out there that will do this for you – I’m here to offer something different.
If you are a fan of folky, delicate, finger picked and softly sung music – akin to Iron & Wine, Elliott Smith, Glen Hansard, Johnny Flynn, Fionn Regan, Nick Drake, Bright Eyes etc – then I am your guy!
I can provide up to two 40 minute sets per evening/show (if you require longer then this can be discussed) and I have a range of PA setups to suit your needs if you need me to bring equipment. I am an experienced sound engineer and so can offer excellent quality sound for you. I can also play totally un-amplified for those extra intimate shows.
I can also pull in a variety of other singer songwriters and acoustic bands for support acts if you’d like more than just myself to play for your event.
